This is the definitive album from this left-coast groove band. The album features Fred Wesley on the 'bone and the horn arrangements are tasty! Robert Walter does his nasty jazz funk thing on the Rhodes, I much prefer his Rhodes to his organ work, which sounds a little stale at times. These are some catchy-ass tunes! |
