This album is a much overlooked favorite of mine. The band were really firing on all cylinders at this point. Leon 'Ndugu' Chancler is especially impressive on drums but he would stay aboard for only this one album. Joe Z. is comping the hell out of that Rhodes and adding some tasteful ARP 2600/Moog modular (TONTO) as well. |
