Azymuth mastermind "Ze Roberto" going solo for another time, yet heavily relying on the support of his band fellows on drums and bass on most tunes. The music is wonderful, lightfooted latin-flavored jazz/fusion with a mild 70's approach. Great Rhodes on it as always - plus a nice tongue-in-cheek CD cover displaying the artist as a young man, looking strikingly like Herb Alpert or Sergio Mendes did in their heyday. All in all, not so much of a real "Aventura", but one simply never can have enuff good music to pick from, rite? |
