Just stumbled across this while looking up some Dave Holland albums. (I haven't heard the whole album so please ignore my rating.) Kilson was, until recently, the regular drummer in DH's quintet. He's an awesome drummer. Anyway, I listened to a few of the samples from this record and there seems to be Rhodes on all of them, and damn funky too. Seem to be a few ballad type tunes in there too, but the groove numbers sounded cool. Probably worth checking out. |
