Bobby Lyle from Minneapolis, ex-sideman for Sly Stone and Ronnie Laws, recorded this gem in 1977 (an excellent Rhodes year, by the way...), full of funk, Rhodes and awesome musicianship. Re-released recently on Capitol's Masters Of Funk And Soul Series. Buy it. Nuff said. |
