All of the Headhunters' past members give the album that familiar sound (plus electric guitar, and even Stevie Wonder's harmonica on ''Steppin' In It''). The Rhodes gets showcased quite a bit - just as you'd expect from Herbie. However, the Rhodes solos are not as long or complex as ''Actual Proof'' or ''Chameleon.'' Still, this album is highly recommended! |

This is not my favorite Herbie CD. The Rhodes-sound is not as topnotch as on "Flood" , "Headhunters" , or "Sunlight" , but I like a track with the Big Band , with some compository sparkles.
To me there is a bit of cheesieness to this one , personal opinion. |
