strong collaboration with brazil's milton nascimento, who wrote many of the songs. herbie plays primarily acoustic on this one, with nascimento pianist wagner tiso on organ and rhodes. some really beautiful post-bossa, MPB melodies here, with wonderful atmosphere-- not to mention some of the best soprano saxophone playing ever put onto tape. |
