a truly great record, spanning genres like crazy (symphonic, soul, easy-listening, latin-rock, blues...you name it). rhodes fans should head immediately to the instrumental 'valdez in the country' for some tasty work....
"love,love,love" is killin' due to the bass work of willie weeks....
(as a side note, station WEAA in baltimore is so hip that it used to start every broadcasting day by playing the entire symphonic tone-poem "i love the lord-he heard my cry" AND "someday we'll all be free"..... can't beat that |
